His work exists outside traditional artistic frameworks, shaped instead by intuition, movement, humor, and a strong sense of character.

Through grotesque creatures, primitive compositions, and emotionally direct imagery, Frankopolax creates pieces that feel both chaotic and controlled. His universe moves between visual saturation and instinctive minimalism — sometimes loud and overloaded, sometimes reduced to a single powerful gesture. Every work carries the feeling of a character coming alive, turning the surface into a stage, a performance, and a playground.

His artistic practice extends across different techniques, objects, and materials, with skateboards becoming a natural part of his visual world. Rather than treating them as simple surfaces, Frankopolax reanimates them — transforming each board into a raw, expressive object full of attitude, symbolism, and energy.

Formerly known as Cumbone, Frankopolax marks a new artistic chapter: clearer, sharper, and more intentional, while still preserving the wild humor and instinctive chaos at the core of his work.

Explore more of Frankopolax’s work:
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/frankopolax/

"Tommy the Tomato" by Frankopolax -- an original character artwork from the Frankopolax series on deckarts.
