Blueprint Dragon: the Chinese dragon, cast entirely in electric blue and rendered as a sculptural object against deep black. For two thousand years the dragon has stood for power, rain and good fortune across East Asia, painted on temple ceilings, embroidered on imperial robes, carried through the streets at New Year. Here it is stripped of gold, red and ceremony and left as pure form: coils, scales and claws in one luminous colour.
Blueprint takes objects from the everyday and the iconic, things we pass without seeing, and renders them as monochrome blue sculptures, weightless against black. Each object becomes a study of itself.
